Midday on the 22 Fillmore

The busdriver is preparing to offboard so another driver waiting patiently at the busstop can take over the route at 16th and Potrero. He stands up from his seat, stretches, gathers his bag and seat cushion and puts on his regulation brown MUNI jacket. It has Smooth Operator embroidered onto the back. All I can do is give him an extra big smile and think, man, that is so fucking awesome.
